Territory Tactics

Take the land. Hold it. Be the last one standing.

A territory strategy game on real maps. Everyone plans in secret at the same time, then the whole table watches the round play out. Nobody sits waiting for a turn.

How a round goes

A match is played in rounds. Every player takes each step of a round at the same time, so there are no turns to wait for.

  1. Pick an augment

Round 1 opens with three powers on the table. You take one and keep it for the rest of the match. Everyone draws from the same tier, silver, gold or prismatic, and you may swap one card you do not like.

The offer comes back on rounds 4 and 7, and a few more times in a long match.

The augment screen in round 1: three gold cards to choose from, Highlanders, Plunder and War Levy, each with a button to swap it.
  2. Place your new troops

Every round brings new troops: three to start with, and more for the land you hold. You put them on your own territories.

They are on the board before anyone gives an order, so what you see is what you plan against.

The Europe board, close in on Persia. The player has two troops left to place, and a card describes the territory Khorasan: open steppe, part of the Persia region.
  3. Give up to three orders

Attack a neighbour, move troops any distance through land you hold, or dig in. Each order slip shows your chance to win before you commit.

Everyone plans at once, and nobody sees anyone else's orders.

Three order slips along the bottom of the screen, each an attack with its chance to win: 71%, 67% and 28%. Red arrows on the map show where each one goes.
  4. Watch the round play out

When everyone is ready, the orders are played one at a time, starting with the weakest player. One roll decides each battle, and the camera goes to wherever the fighting is.

Supply crates and world events are announced a round ahead, so even luck is something you can plan for.

The round playing out: the player's army has just taken Tehran, and the words Persia complete are written across the region it now holds.

Real maps

The borders on the board are real ones. Holding a whole region pays a bonus, and the ground matters: mountains defend better, forests cost an attacker more troops, lowland pays an extra troop a round, and on open steppe the defender has no advantage.

The Europe board: sculpted land from Iceland to Persia with North Africa and the Middle East, every territory marked with its troop count.

Europe

95 territories in 14 regions with 13 landmark cities, from Iceland to Persia by way of North Africa, the Middle East and the Caucasus. Room for six players.

The Türkiye board: a paper map lying on a dark table, its provinces in four players' colours with playing pieces standing on them.

Türkiye

30 territories in 7 regions with 7 landmark cities, drawn as an inked atlas sheet on the table.

Three ways a match can end

You choose one when you set up a game. In a room, the host chooses.

Total conquest
Be the last player on the map. There is no round limit: from round 10, empires that fall too far behind the largest collapse, until one player holds everything.
Capture the cities
Hold enough landmark cities for one full round: 5 of the 13 on Europe, 4 of the 7 on Türkiye. There is no round limit.
12 rounds
The same race for the cities, with a deadline. If nobody has won by the end of round 12, whoever holds the most landmarks wins.

Alone or with friends

Play alone against bots, or open a room and send its link. Whoever opens it joins your table: up to six people, and bots can fill the empty seats. Nobody needs an account.

If someone's connection drops, a bot plays that seat until they are back.

How playing with friends works

Where to play
